Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Culture & Capability Consultant to join our People & Culture team on a 12‑month contract and play a key role in shaping AFCA’s culture, capability and leadership development initiatives. About the Opportunity As a Senior Culture & Capability Consultant, you’ll lead and support high‑impact projects that uplift learning, organisational capability and engagement across AFCA. Working closely with People & Culture, business leaders and subject matter experts, you’ll help design and deliver programs that strengthen our culture and build leadership and enterprise capabilities. You’ll also partner across the organisation to ensure initiatives are aligned, relevant and delivering real impact, helping us continue to build an engaged, capable and values‑led workforce. What You’ll Be Doing Lead high‑impact Culture & Capability projects, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, strong stakeholder engagement and measurable outcomes. Design, deliver and evaluate learning programs across induction, core capability, leadership, culture and engagement. Facilitate meetings, workshops and learning sessions with confidence and credibility. Use qualitative and quantitative data to shape initiatives, evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across AFCA to support program success. Support the coordination of learning programs, including communications, promotion and logistics as needed. Qualifications What you will bring: Experience in OD, learning, capability or P&C roles, ideally in consultant or senior consultant capacity. A skilled and confident facilitator who can lead workshops, programs and group sessions with ease. Strong project delivery skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver at pace. Data‑informed decision‑making, using qualitative and quantitative insights to shape and evaluate initiatives. A human‑centred mindset with strong problem‑solving capabilities and comfort working through ambiguity. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, build connections and drive outcomes across all levels. Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills. Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, psychology, business or a related field (desirable).
