ABOUT THE ROLE

Rabobank’s Financial Economic Crime (FEC) team have an opening for a Senior CDD Analyst - Wholesale Banking to be based in Sydney. This is a fixed-term role which will run from 1st July 2025 through to 1st May 2026.
In this role, you’ll report directly to the Associate Director, Wholesale KYC & Onboarding Lead, & become a valued member of a collaborative & high-performing team.
As a Senior Customer Due Diligence Analyst, you will play a key role in managing new client onboardings, conducting ongoing due diligence, & performing event-driven reviews for our Wholesale Banking & International Desk clients. You will also provide critical support to our Wholesale & Markets teams, helping ensure we maintain the highest standards of compliance & client service.

TOP ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Review KYC submissions from Wholesale Banking & Treasury clients to ensure accuracy & compliance with the Banks regulatory obligations, including but limited to the AML/CTF Act. Where needed provide guidance & support to relevant parties
  • Support Treasury in meeting initial & ongoing regulatory requirements
  • Complete risk assessments across various risk types including Sector, PEP, Adverse Media & Sanctions & more
  • Verify the accuracy of FATCA onboarding forms & determine the correct FATCA classification of each client
  • Collaborate with the Compliance team to refine process that integrate new or revised regulations. Maintain clear, up-to-date reference materials for stakeholders & contribute to the development of targeted training for front office & Wholesale Banking teams
  • Act as primary point of contact for front office & operations team for compliance & regulatory enquires
  • Deliver updates & reports to the Wholesale Banking management team on developments, initiatives, & new products
