Job Title: Sr Customer Solutions Engineer Department: Customer Success Division: Customer Solutions What You’ll Do: As a Senior Customer Solutions Engineer your focus will be on supporting Key Accounts and developing a thorough understanding of data use cases, the client landscape, and how to best connect the two. You will be responsible for collaborating across Customer Success, Sales, Product and Engineering to ensure our customers experience the best solutions that meet their business’s needs. You will help develop team members in their technical abilities and help drive them towards autonomy. Your work will also be a critical element to actively researching and validating our next generation data offerings as we bring them to market. You will get the opportunity to solve a wide variety of problems, which demand a high level of creativity and imagination, as well as a thorough knowledge of the applicable needs and expectations of employees/customers. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about solving problems and diving deep into technical challenges. What You'll Be Responsible For: Provide mentorship for Associate and Intermediate Customer Solutions Engineers to help them grow in their technical responsibilities and remove blockers to their autonomy Work cross-functionally to solve, streamline, and improve Product/Data challenges Support client’s and their key Sales and Marketing GTM use cases with HG’s data at a high proficiency (e.g. Territory Planning, Account Prioritization, etc.) Act as lead technical support for HG’s Key Accounts via email, phone, and in person to ensure client growth and upsells Leverage industry expertise to lead our customers to value and help them to navigate competitive markets Use technical skills such as SQL and Tableau and learn new skills as needed to drive customer success Take a primary role in client education to ensure a solid foundation of nuanced data concepts and internal education to ensure departmental competency and data literacy Engage in clear dialogue with clients to customize the HG data offerings to ensure the solution aligns with client business needs. Help evolve and iterate data assets that are needed by HG’s Customer Base What You’ll Need: Proven ability to independently manage a project or projects Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field preferred or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in a data related role that involves database work Have a high level of data proficiency leveraging SQL as well as supporting GTM use cases of Sales and Marketing teams Exceptional level of self-motivation and tenacity Demonstrate an ability to take both analytical and creative approaches to solve problems Ability to help lead and guide a developing team to implement best practices Ability to communicate effectively with, and provide excellent customer service to, stakeholders at all levels of the organization Tableau experience (Preferred)
