We are seeking experienced professionals adept at managing and solving complex technical challenges while fostering strong relationships with our strategic clients. You will leverage your software engineering background, organizational abilities, and customer-centric approach to drive successful project outcomes, while guiding clients through the technical aspects of Smartly products. Experience in digital marketing and measurement is a plus. Both customer-facing and development experience are necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise and Problem Solving: Act as a primary technical resource for strategic clients, providing deep insights and solutions across software systems. Address and resolve complex technical issues by working within the Smartly.io codebase, reviewing and enhancing its functionality. Implement scripts and automated solutions using tools such as Python, Node.js, SQL, or other automation frameworks common at Smartly.io to mitigate recurring problems.
  • Project Management and Execution: Lead and oversee large-scale technical projects, ensuring they meet business goals and customer requirements. Develop detailed project plans, manage resources effectively, and monitor progress to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic clients, acting as a trusted technical advisor. Understand their business goals, technical requirements, and challenges to provide tailored solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and customer success teams to gather requirements, provide feedback, and ensure alignment with customer needs.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technical projects and customer implementations.
  • Scalable Solution Design: Design and implement scalable technical solutions that leverage relevant technologies, including AWS when appropriate.
  • Technical Transparency and Reporting: Provide clear and concise technical updates to various stakeholders, including senior leadership and clients.
  • Mentorship and Team Development: Mentor junior team members, sharing technical expertise across multiple domains, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
