About this Position Join Henkel’s global cybersecurity team and play a pivotal role in safeguarding our digital environment. As a Senior Cyber Defense Analyst, you will be part of a 24/7/365 SOC, responsible for advanced threat detection, incident analysis, and proactive threat hunting. You’ll lead containment and remediation efforts, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and continuously enhance our security posture. This role demands deep technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and a passion for defending against evolving cyber threats. What you´ll do Monitor security alerts and network traffic to detect suspicious activities using SIEM and advanced tools Investigate and analyze security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and lead containment and remediation efforts Conduct proactive threat hunting for indicators of compromise (IoCs) and emerging cyber threats Collaborate with internal teams and external partners; escalate critical issues and deliver detailed reports Improve SOC processes, detection capabilities, and incident response playbooks Mentor junior analysts and share knowledge to strengthen team expertise Support Henkel’s global cybersecurity operations in a 24/7/365 Security Operations Center environment What makes you a good fit Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of five (5) years in Security Operations Center (SOC), or Cyber Defense roles; Strong background in incident response and threat analysis Proficiency with SIEM platforms, EDR tools, and network security monitoring Knowledge of malware analysis, threat intelligence, and attack frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK); Preferably with Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, or similar certifications Strong analytical thinking, communication, and ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 environment Amenable to work on a day shift schedule (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati Some perks of joining Henkel A thriving career with the Top 15 Best Workplaces in the Philippines by Great Place to Work and the Top GBS Employer in the Philippines by the Everest Group for 4 consecutive years!
