This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong experience across security operations, incident response and threat detection, who also enjoys improving processes, tools and the capability of a wider security team.

You’ll work closely with IT, Security Architecture and regional teams to strengthen the organisation’s security posture and response capabilities.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the investigation and response to cyber security incidents;
  • Develop and improve threat detection and monitoring capabilities;
  • Work across SIEM, EDR and other security technologies;
  • Develop and optimise security use cases, processes and playbooks;
  • Improve security tools, workflows and operational processes;
  • Support automation and the use of AI across Security Operations;
  • Develop security reporting, metrics and dashboards;
  • Support Exposure Management and vulnerability findings;
  • Test and improve incident response capabilities;
  • Work closely with IT and Security Architecture teams across the region;
  • Mentor and support junior Security Analysts; and
  • Act as a delegate for Security Operations leadership when required.

What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong experience in Security Operations, Incident Response or a Tier 2/3 SOC;
  • Hands-on experience investigating and responding to security incidents;
  • Experience with SIEM and EDR technologies;
  • Strong understanding of threat detection and security monitoring;
  • Experience with security tools across areas such as firewalls, email, web and endpoint security;
  • Exposure to SOAR, UEBA or XDR technologies;
  • Experience developing security playbooks or automated response workflows;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SaaS and cloud security;
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; and
  • Experience mentoring or supporting other security analysts.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC or equivalent will be highly regarded.

Why join?

  • Join a global Security Operations team;
  • Senior role with genuine technical ownership;
  • Work across a complex, international environment;
  • Exposure to modern security technologies, automation and AI;
  • Opportunity to influence security operations and detection capability;
  • Work alongside experienced cyber security and technology professionals; and
  • Strong opportunity for continued career development.
