ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE OF THE SENIOR CYBER SECURITY CONSULTANT:
The ability to understand cyber risk impact on business outcomes and communicating effectively
Previous experience articulating evidenced convincing arguments for recommended courses of action
The ability to understand how architects and designers employ technology to build systems of interest
Digitally literate (including fluency in Microsoft Office tools)
Able to understand relevant NIST frameworks and ISO27001 standards and how to apply in practice
Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK

The Role
As a Senior Cyber Security Consultant you will support across a number of Cyber Security and Information Assurance outputs within the Future Combat Air System Delivery Team.
Day-to-day, you will be involved in the maturation of existing FCAS Secure by Design strategy work creating a comprehensive set of programme policies and associated implementation guidance and setting the approach to the assurance of systems, services and applications.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Providing cyber security support to the rollout of new systems satisfying all security aspects
The input to Data Loss Prevention and Data Architecture design
Secure By Design question set submissions
Creating programme-specific artefacts and processes such as SyOPs
Producing a Defence Security Management Plan and risk assessment capturing all relevant aspects required
Engaging with key stakeholders to align expectations and processes across the wider programme
