ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of proven experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Hands-on experience with web application penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security reporting. Experience in Red Teaming, Blue Teaming would be advantageous.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical controls and security architecture.
• Experience with UML diagrams for security architecture and system design.
• Moderate scripting skills (Python etc.) for automation and security analysis.
• Familiarity with cryptography principles and modern DFIR (Digital Forensics & Incident Response) tools and ability to perform triage and investigations.
• Strong cloud security knowledge across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience in Threat Intelligence, including querying raw intelligence, querying SIEM platforms, generating and reportingimpactful insights.
• Proficiency in security incident handling, writing technical reports, and presenting findings to management.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills for security initiatives.
• Solid understanding of threat hunting techniques, TTPs (Tactics, Techniques & Procedures), and generating IOCs for SOC teams.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and quick to learn emerging security technologies.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Familiarity with Secure Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and modern application security.
• Experience with microservices security, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native security.
• Knowledge of advanced security tools for forensic investigation, CVSS scoring, penetration testing, and risk assessment.
• Industry certifications such as OSWE, OSCP, CRT are highly advantageous.

As a Cybersecurity professional, you will:

• Security & Compliance Leadership: Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Development teams to ensure security and compliance requirements are embedded in cutting-edge technologies.
• Security by Design: Ability to partner with Development teams to integrate security, risk, and compliance into Agile and DevSecOps workflows (optional)
• Industry Best Practices: Identify security and compliance pain points in system design, development, and deployment and ability to collaborate across teams to enhance security posture.
• Incident Response & Threat Intelligence: Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for security incidents, generate actionable threat intelligence, and work closely with SOC teams to track emerging threats. Some exposure with Automation and DFIR is good to have.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Drive alignment between security, engineering, and business teams, ensuring security requirements are met efficiently.
