SAIC is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to manage advanced security measures to protect our systems and data from cyber threats. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay ahead of emerging threats. This position is 100%25 remote. The Senior Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to the following: ISSO supporting the Navy Qualys, SCAP and ACAS vulnerability scanning and remediation Utilized STIG information to deploy hardened IT applications and systems Security assessment utilizing NIST cyber security framework Evaluated, analyzed, and recommended changes to improve security posture(s) Create documentation/artifacts to support critical assets and systems Required Education: Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years’ experience; Master's degree preferred; additional four (4) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree. Required Clearance: Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required. Required Skills: Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices. Proficiency with security technologies and tools Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
