About the job

• We're seeking a Senior Cyber Security Governance Analyst (APS6 equivalent) to support cyber security GRC activities within a major resilience uplift program for a Federal Government agency.The role:Contribute to solution design for security considerations
• Review and develop security requirements and recommendations
• Prepare communications and documentation for senior executive decision-making
• Support security assurance processes, including IRAP assessments and penetration testing
• Lead the development of formal security documentation
• Details:12-month initial contract + 12-month extension option
• Start date: 1 September 2026
• Location: Canberra (ACT), full-time onsite (temporary WFH considered case-by-case)
• Up to 45 hours per week — this is a surge role; extended hours and weekend work required during key delivery periods
