Responsibilities & Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Clearance Current U.S.TS/SCI clearance required (T5 Investigation). (Elevated/Privileged Access). Education Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science OR Associate’s degree plus seven (7) years of specialized experience Experience Experience in Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, and Web Application security Assessments. Experience in running assessments on Microsoft Active Directory and Linux environments along with associated infrastructure. Experience with penetration testing frameworks such as Metasploit, Core Impact, and/or Immunity Canvas. Experience in evaluating web servers and web applications manually and with automated tools such as Open Web Application Security Project Zed Attack Proxy (OWASP ZAP) and/or Portswigger Burp Suite. Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and/or Powershell. Experience in report writing and articulating assessment findings to both technical and non- technical audiences. Certification Any of the following: TCM Security PNPT Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Hack The Box Certified Penetration Testing Specialist (HTB CPTS), Zero Point RTO, Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE), GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) GIAC Assessing and Auditing Wireless Networks (GAWN), GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN), GWEB RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Cyber Incident Handling Analyst plans and executes the Computer Defense Assistance Program (CDAP) assessments (NAV, PPT) and web testing to validate and exploit real‑world weaknesses; delivers rapid executive reporting and coordinates defensive measures and TTP updates that measurably improve U.S. Army Network and Cyber Operations cyber posture. Overview The Senior Cyber Threat Analyst leads assessment‑focused defensive cyber operations across RCC‑E networks—planning and executing CDAP missions (Network Assistance Visits, Network Damage Assessments support, and Persistent Penetration Testing), plus Web Assessments—to validate security posture, confirm exploitability, and drive rapid remediation with clear executive reporting.
