Job Description We are strengthening our security monitoring and prevention capabilities, ensuring compliance with mandatory requirements defined by external regulatory entities and internal audit controls. We are looking for a highly autonomous, rigorous, and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, capable of effectively leveraging the existing tools and processes that support infrastructure and application security. Your Responsibilities: Analyse and monitor security events detected across infrastructure, applications, and communication systems. Validate compliance and information security requirements in both infrastructure and application environments. Manage, track, and communicate identified vulnerabilities. Support the implementation and continuous improvement of security policies, practices, and controls. Conduct technical investigation and troubleshooting related to security incidents and alerts. Use existing tools effectively to strengthen threat prevention and incident response capabilities. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or in similar roles. Experience working with MS Windows systems (7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11/13), Windows Server and Linux Strong knowledge of: IP Networks, advanced architectures, and integration infrastructures PowerShell and Shell Scripting Qualys and BitSight Experience with key security technologies, including: Security across Microsoft / Linux / Containers Cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) Firewalls: CheckPoint, Fortinet, Cisco Knowledge of major security frameworks and auditing standards: CIS, NIST, ISO 27000, OWASP Nice to have: experience with CrowdStrike, Cycognito, Shodan, Kali Linux, Burp Suite. Additional Information Workplace type: Hybrid (max. of 3 times per week in the office). Location: Picoas, Lisboa.
Responsibilities
The analyst will analyze and monitor security events across infrastructure, applications, and communication systems while validating compliance with security requirements. Responsibilities also include managing vulnerabilities, supporting security policy implementation, and conducting technical investigations for security incidents.
