*POSITION CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD*

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
  • Manage and mentor subordinate personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years’ experience, or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 12 years’ experience
  • An active Secret security clearance with an SSBI.
  • DOD Cyber Workforce (DCWF) 461 required certifications: CISSP-ISSEP or CCNA or CCSP or GICSP or GISF or GSEC or Security+ or equivalent / higher
  • Ensure appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and infrastructure.
  • Respond to computer security breaches and viruses.
  • Provide information to support compliance reporting requirements on cyber posture.
  • Track and report status on security orders and POA&Ms.
  • Perform vulnerability scans and provide reports. Maintain system registrations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
  • Experience producing metrics and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Demonstrated history of discretion, independent judgment, and self-direction.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
  • Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700
  • May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
  • It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
