Acclaim Health announces the availability of one (1) Temporary Full-Time Senior Data Analyst position. This position is based out of the Oakville head office. This is a temporary position for approximately 15 months. The Individual will be required to work Monday to Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm.
In collaboration with the Director of the Quality and Risk Department, the incumbent will be responsible for the preparation, analysis, interpretation, evaluation and presentation of clinical and operational data that will help drive the decision support strategy of the organization and improve outcomes in quality, effectiveness, efficiency and safety.
Extensive experience with Excel tools and knowledge in SQL MS is required to mine, store, analyze data and create reports to facilitate excellent decision processes.
This incumbent will be a valued influencer and contributor across the whole organization. Succeeding here is as much about relationships, as it is data, and so communication and listening skills are key. The technical skills will be as important as eye for detail, passion for problem solving, and aptitude for analysis.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

· Baccalaureate in Health Administration or equivalent
· Certification in occupational health and safety or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution
· Joint Health and Safety Committee Certification an asset
· Certification in Mask Fit Testing an asset
· Certification in First Aid, CPR an asset
· Valid Ontario driver’s license, use of vehicle and insurance per Acclaim Health policy.
· Undergraduate degree in business, health informatics or equivalent
· Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in analytics, databases, report automation, and dashboard implementation as well as experience with report writing.
· Data entry, tracking and checking accuracy
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, validation; using pivot tables, charting techniques, formulas and macros) required.
· Advanced knowledge with SQL Management Studio (develop and maintain SQL queries, as well as database scripts).
· Knowledge and experience applying project management and changing management methodologies.
· Proficient data extraction with the ability to synthesize information to see the big picture and summarize analytics according to the audience.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Good organizational skills proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
