Description
As part of our Data Transformation we are looking for a Business Analyst for the IT Data team. You will work on various business and IT projects, by analysing the needs and define how to translate them into a solution to be built on the enterprise Datalake or Data Warehouse. Furthermore, you are expected to help think about the future possibilities of data and how our current solutions can contribute to this by building generic solutions. As a Business Analyst, the most important tasks are: You translate the business/IT needs into requirements as a basis for the implementation team in collaboration with the different Stakeholders (Requestor, Architecture, IT-team that manage the source data). You work closely with the Solution Architect, the other business analysts, and the implementation team. You play a pivotal role in bringing these roles together and thus contributing to the team's cohesion. You create the most appropriate data-model to cover the need and so optimise its use. You create the necessary data mappings and queries for implementation. You are an important contact person for the other teams with whom we deliver an end-to-end solution, taking care of the communication and coordination. You actively participate in the preparation and execution of tests to validate the deliverables produced by the team. What you bring to the table: You have the necessary experience in the data domain. You preferably have experience within the insurance sector, or if not, the financial sector. You have a structured approach and way of thinking You communicate transparently and clearly, depending on the interlocutor with whom you are communicating You understand IT architecture, which is necessary for correctly describing the requirements of the various components of the solution. You can communicate with business stakeholders as well as with technical profiles. You understand the architecture, the business analysis and the implications of the technical implementation. You have the ability to break down a high-level overview and explain it in a comprehensible way. You have a strong ability to build an internal network, which promotes collaboration with other teams within AXA. You are solution-oriented, have analytical skills and a sense of pragmatism. You learn quickly and enjoy working proactively and autonomously. You can have conversations in French or Dutch. You have basic knowledge of the other national language and a good knowledge of English. Responsibilities
The Senior Data Analyst will translate business and IT needs into requirements for the implementation team while collaborating with various stakeholders. They will also create data models, mappings, and queries, and participate in testing to validate deliverables.
