REQUIREMENTS

• Strong experience in data interpretation within a risk or control environment
• Working knowledge of Procurement, TPRM, and regulatory frameworks
• Comfortable working with large and potentially unstructured data sets
• Experience in control library mapping, data lineage, and key risk indicators
• VP-level experience, ideally in Operational Risk, Compliance, or Procurement RiskAbility to operate effectively across teams and geographies

ABOUT THE ROLE

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Data Analyst to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Glasgow.
Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to translate data from their data sourcing team into actionable insights across risk, control, procurement, and regulatory processes, ensuring alignment across global teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with the data sourcing team to interpret complex data sets and deliver actionable recommendations that enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and strategic initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and interpret data outputs from the Data Sourcing team
• Apply insights to strengthen Controls, Risk, Procurement, and Regulatory processes
• Map data to control libraries and risk indicators, ensuring clear lineage and traceability
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data-driven alignment with Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) and regulatory expectations
