As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution dedicated to data-driven decision-making and strategic transformation. You will be responsible for analyzing, processing, and managing complex datasets to support business objectives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure data integrity, develop ETL pipelines, and provide key insights to stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in data governance, compliance, and process improvement while working on large-scale data projects that enhance operational efficiency and business intelligence.

Responsibilities

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: COLLATING, TESTING, AND VERIFYING INDEPENDENTLY SOURCED DATA TO ASSESS ROBUSTNESS AND ACCURACY

  • Understanding source systems data, models, and data standards to ensure consistency
  • Gathering data requirements from model development and monitoring teams
  • Working on data quality issues and liaising with project teams for new data assets
  • Developing ETL pipelines to make data assets available on enterprise platforms
  • Designing roadmaps for data, application, and business process architecture
  • Preparing clear and effective material for key business stakeholders at all levels
  • Managing relationships across functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Prioritizing business and information needs with management
  • Driving process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency

YOU’RE IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

  • Solid experience in a similar data analysis role
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a numerate subject; Master’s degree preferred
  • Strong programming skills in at least one of the following: SAS, Python, PySpark, SQL, Hadoop Big Data
  • Ability to comprehend and work with complex data architecture
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering and specification
  • Multitasking ability and capability to work under pressure within tight timelines
  • Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and Monday.com
  • Open personality with effective communication skills, adaptable to international teams
  • Previous experience in IT/Analytics
