This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst in India. This role offers an exciting opportunity to transform complex healthcare and patient data into actionable insights that directly inform strategic decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze patient journeys, lines of therapy, and structured claims datasets, providing key intelligence for business and clinical initiatives. The position requires strong technical skills in SQL, Python, Excel, and data visualization tools to deliver accurate, reproducible, and impactful analyses. You will independently manage analytics projects, present findings to stakeholders, and support data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Remote work is supported, with occasional cross-team collaboration and client-facing interactions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive analyst passionate about healthcare and life sciences data. \n Accountabilities: Lead analytics projects focused on patient journeys, line-of-therapy mapping, and structured claims datasets. Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to assess treatment patterns, pathways, and utilization. Support HEOR/HCRU studies including prevalence, burden, incidence, and cost-of-illness analyses. Build and optimize SQL queries, data pipelines, and use Python/Excel for automation and analysis. Develop and present insights using dashboards, PowerPoint, and other visual analytics tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HEOR, market-access, strategy, and engineering, to gather requirements and deliver actionable results. Ensure data integrity, governance, documentation, and reproducibility of analytics work. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in analytics roles relevant to healthcare or life sciences. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Statistics, or related fields. Prior experience with structured healthcare datasets such as DRG, IQVIA, McKesson, or Symphony claims. Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with RWE sources, EHR/EMR datasets, and line-of-therapy frameworks. Experience in pharma, life-science consulting, or analytics agencies is preferred. Client-facing experience and ability to translate complex data into business insights. Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
