Description

Without you, we make decisions based on gut feeling. With you, we create a solid data foundation and a perspective that can both explain what has been and show what is possible. Have you not only worked with data in the past, but also built structures, established processes, and truly shaped a BI department? Then bring your wealth of experience to our team!

These are the topics you're passionate about:

See the forest, not just the trees.

You love recognizing connections that others overlook. Complex data sets don't intimidate you – you make them navigable and understandable. At the same time, you know which data is strategically relevant and which isn't.

Making a lot out of a little.

Perfect data? That's rare. You know how to work with what you have, make assumptions transparent, and still provide clear recommendations for action.

Translate instead of report.

Numbers alone don't change anything. You make them speak and create a foundation for well-informed decisions. You have a good sense of what data management, finance, and product management need, and you know exactly how to process complexity in a way that accelerates decisions instead of delaying them.

Create, don't wait.

You see what's missing and get started – without a complete roadmap, without a perfect foundation. You've already built BI structures in another context and know where the pitfalls lie – you want to contribute this knowledge to our team.

Here's how you can contribute your skills:

  • You can expect a greenfield: You will build the BI area – structures, processes, tooling – and develop iteratively.
  • You accelerate decision-making through reliable analyses, forecasts, and recommendations for strategic planning, product management, and finance.
  • In addition to monitoring our own development, you also observe the market and competition and translate external signals into strategic impulses.

You bring the following:

  • You bring several years of experience in the BI or Analytics field – ideally, you have already built structures, not just operated them.
  • You are certainly familiar with at least one BI tool – we currently use Qlik; experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar tools is equally welcome.
  • You use AI strategically as a tool – for analysis, pattern recognition and visualization – and know when it helps and when it doesn't.
  • You have very good German skills.
  • An analytical pragmatist with an eye for the big picture and the courage to build a new department with us.

That would be exciting, but you can still grow into it:

  • Industry knowledge in the hosting/SaaS sector is essential. But what you absolutely must bring is the curiosity to truly understand us and our markets.
