THE ROLE & THE TEAM

Join the Consumer Insight & Segmentation team within Lounge by Zalando’s marketing department. Our goal is to deepen our understanding of customers and translate data-driven insights into actionable strategies that enhance the customer experience. You’ll collaborate with a group of Data Analysts and Applied Scientists, driving innovation in marketing measurement, causal inference, and customer behavior analysis that actively shape the company’s long term business decisions.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Lead research and methodology development in Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), incrementality measurement, and causal inference, using Bayesian and frequentist approaches.
  • Mentor and upskill analysts, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration
  • Design and implement advanced statistical models to identify causal relationships between customer behavior and business KPIs, identifying key decision events in the customer journey.
  • Drive marketing measurement research, working with cross-functional teams (Data Engineering, Marketing & Analytics) and external partners.
