We are looking for a Sr data analyst to join our Global Pricing & Contracting Insights & Analytics team based in Prague.
Our Global Pricing & Contracting Insights & Analytics team empowers Medtronic with insightful business tools and analytics across all Operating Units (OUs) and regions. We partner with the business, regional and country pricing leaders in pricing strategy execution and continuous improvement of Medtronic’s pricing processes.
The ideal candidate will excel in the entire data analysis lifecycle, from manipulating large datasets to uncovering trends, patterns, and insights that directly impact pricing decision-making. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) to present complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Over 6 years of proven experience in data analytics / business intelligence / finance
• Strong attention to details and commitment to quality
• Strong business acumen and willingness to learn about the different business dynamics
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work proactively, both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  It is nice to have proven experience in creating insightful data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms. Additionally, familiarity with Python, Excel VBA, SQL, or other relevant programming and query languages would be beneficial. We appreciate candidates who are quick learners with a strong motivation for personal development.

• Partner with stakeholders to gain knowledge in the markets, products, and business needs, and transform the knowledge into analytics to drive informed decision-making
• Become an expert in the team’s existing tools, maintain and create comprehensive dashboards and reporting packages to deliver valuable business insights to identify any hidden opportunities
• Conduct Quarterly Forecast ASP process for a specific portfolio and geographic scope
• Respond to ad hoc requests from stakeholders with tailored and timely solutions
• Conduct detailed pricing analysis to monitor the performance of existing products
• Proactively identify innovative approaches and enhancements to existing processes for better efficiency and effectiveness
• Collaborate with various teams across OUs and regions on special pricing and contracting initiatives
