WHERE YOU’LL WORK:

Depending on the needs of your business area, we expect hub based people to be in the office at least once a week, and to go to OVO Connection events in-person.
You’ll be assigned to the closest one of our three hub offices, Bristol, Glasgow, or London; unless your role requires field-based work. Each hub has accessible spaces to park your laptop, is designed to inspire people, help them connect and bring big ideas to life.

  • Good to advanced knowledge of SQL and other data retrieval tools

  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work with large data sets and to synthesise information and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work with a high degree of autonomy
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment where prioritisation is required
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills - able to articulate results clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable navigating change and uncertainty, with a flexible working attitude.
  • Experience and knowledge within the energy sector will be an advantage
  • Demonstrable experience of using data to highlight areas for improvement would be set you apart

THIS ROLE IN A NUTSHELL:

You will be supporting the Commercial Performance team drive value in the pursuit of Path to Zero, identifying new trends and opportunities by preparing accurate reports and analysis that unlock insight and help OVO test hypotheses, and drive change where there is value.
