Working at velocity with strong business acumen, you will partner with product, engineering, marketing, and senior leadership to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and prioritise high-impact work. You will sit within Serko’s centralised Data Science & Analytics team, helping to foster a culture of data excellence and innovation. What you'll be doing Scope and deliver high-value insights from massive datasets to answer our toughest operational questions. Partner with stakeholders to define problems and deliver prioritized, actionable recommendations. Design clean dashboards and translate complex data into compelling stories for diverse audiences. Develop and deploy advanced statistical, predictive, and ML models. Identify data quality gaps and champion best practices company-wide. Mentor the wider data team on analytical techniques and stakeholder communication. What you'll bring We'd love to hear from you if you have: Experience transforming complex, technical concepts into engaging narratives that resonate with senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences. Strong working knowledge of SQL and Python, alongside experience bringing data to life using visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and cloud data environments (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery). An analytical mindset with a focus on statistical analysis and finding root causes, coupled with a genuine appreciation for data quality and governance. A desire to continuously learn and explore new areas, such as machine learning or modern tooling (like PySpark/Databricks). Meaningful, real-world experience. Whether you hold a tertiary qualification in a quantitative field or have forged your own path through practical application, your experience matters to us.
