The directorate is comprised of four teams; Award Services, Contract Services, Planning, Insight & Improvement, and Compliance and Assurance, who all work together to deliver a service to support, advise and provide expertise to our academic community for our extensive and varied portfolio of externally funded projects.
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our growing Data & Insights team, within Planning, Insight & Improvement. The team are responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards, answering queries around research projects and in-depth analysis of our datasets.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Data Analyst will assist in the management and monitoring of a £3.0 billion research and innovation portfolio. You will gain an in-depth understanding of UCL’s research & innovation portfolio and identify what data is needed to monitor and report on the portfolio across the University as well as strategic priorities for the service.
We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst with strong data processing capabilities and a proven track record of translating complex data into meaningful insights. You’ll play a key role in delivering timely and impactful analytical support, helping to inform decision-making across the University.
You will provide analysis and dashboarding to support senior and executive leaders, and support RIS teams with statistical analysis of data across research and innovation grant lifecycle, from a range of sources within the University and externally.
This is a permanent role which is eligible for hybrid working at a minimum of 20% on site. We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible.
