This Senior Data Analyst will continue the expansion of our Data Department. The ideal candidate will have the ability to use tools like Python, SQL, and Looker to sift through large data sets, parse out key trends, and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.
Major responsibilities of this role include: leveraging statistical analyses and quantitative skills to deep-dive and answer key business questions, automating reporting, developing Looker dashboards, and serving as a key liaison between the data team and other departments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of statistical testing, experimental design, and quantitative approaches to perform complex data analysis and drive impact. This is a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to drive business impact at the intersection of data science and data analytics in a vibrant and dynamic organization.

REQUIREMENTS:



    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills are required, including the ability to analyze raw data, perform statistical testing, identify trend drivers, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendations and their forecasted outcomes/implications

    • Ability to structure and analyze data with SQL and Python
    • Demonstrated ability to manage large datasets and complex analytical projects
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to aggregate information and data from multiple sources
    • Experience with Looker or other data visualization/dashboarding tools
    • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to convey and package technical findings in layman’s terms
    • Experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment is a plus

        $85,000 - $98,000 a year
        The pay range for this position is: $85,000 – $98,000 per year. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Transparency Law.
        This is a full-time position based on-site/in our New York office. Vevo currently operates in a hybrid work model and requires all employees, who have not been designated as “remote” to be in the office/studio a minimum of 3 days a week.
