UNITE is about delivering 'one best way' to make our processes, systems and tech simpler so we can deliver a better experience for our customers and make things easier for our people. * Location: Sydney-based role * On-site Requirement: 3 days in the office per week * Why On-site? This is a highly collaborative position involving regular face-to-face workshops and close team interaction, making in-office presence essential. What’s the role? As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role within the Chief Transformation Office (CTO), enabling safe, evidence‑based decision making across UNITE, Westpac’s enterprise‑wide simplification program. You will ensure complex transformation decisions are supported by trusted data, transparent logic, and clearly articulated insights across business and technology landscapes. Additionally, you will partner closely with Business Delivery Leads, Product Owners, Program Managers, and technology squads to validate data flows, assess data quality, and define data sourcing, controls, and assumptions. You will design analytical frameworks and decision artefacts that support prioritisation, sequencing, readiness, and governance, including regulatory and audit expectations. You’ll challenge constructively, surface risks early, and help leaders navigate ambiguity by translating complex data into simple, trusted narratives. You will deliver clear, defensible insights for executive and governance forums while working effectively in agile environments and contributing to a strong, collaborative delivery culture. What do I need? * Experience working with data quality, data flows, and end‑to‑end analysis in large or complex environments.  * Ability to analyse complex problems and turn data into clear, practical insights.  * Good judgement when working with incomplete data, tight timelines, and risk.  * Hands‑on experience with data analysis using SQL, Excel, Python, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Informatica experience is a plus.  * Experience working with data quality, data flows, and end‑to‑end analysis in large or complex environments.  * Strong communication skills, able to explain complex information in simple terms.  * Experience working with senior stakeholders and collaborating across business and technology teams.  * Comfortable working in fast‑paced, agile teams and contributing positively to a collaborative culture.
