ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are currently seeking a Senior Data Analytics Consultant to serve as a strategic advisor to clients navigating complex data-related challenges. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping organizations turn data into actionable insights and driving measurable business outcomes. You will work with a variety of clients to assess data maturity, shape analytics strategies, and design solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across their enterprise.

Responsibilities
  • Client Advisory and Strategic Consulting:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them define and execute on their data analytics strategy.
  • Translate business challenges into actionable data insights and reporting solutions leveraging analytics tools.
  • Lead data discovery sessions and analytics maturity assessments to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Develop and present strategic analytics roadmaps, KPI frameworks, and self-service BI enablement plans.
  • Support pre-sales engagements by highlighting the analytical value of Snowflake in solving business problems.

Analytics Architecture & Enablement:

  • Design business intelligence environments optimized for analytics, reporting, and self-service BI.
  • Guide the modeling of data for analytics use cases (e.g., dimensional modeling, data marts, semantic layers).
  • Support integration with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, or Looker, enabling impactful dashboards and reports.
  • Drive best practices for data accessibility, discoverability, and analytical performance.

Data Governance and Insight Quality:

  • Implement processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and trustworthiness for analytics use.
  • Serve as subject matter expert and advise our clients on best practices around data governance and insight quality

Thought-Leadership and Innovation:

  • Stay current on market leading analytics offerings and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, etc).
  • Contribute to the evolution of internal offerings around data visualization, decision intelligence, and AI/ML readiness.
  • Lead workshops, demos, and analytics enablement sessions to foster data culture and literacy.
  • Share industry insights, trends, and new technologies with both clients and internal teams.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to align analytics with business priorities.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to both technical and executive audiences.
