Role Overview Rocket Now is looking for a highly analytical and operationally strong data analyst / Senior data analyst to support and scale our delivery driver operations. This role will focus on driver onboarding, day-to-day driver operations, incentive program management, and solving operational challenges through data-driven and creative approaches. This role focuses on using data to improve driver engagement, retention, and supply quality, working closely with operations, growth, and marketplace teams. Rather than building infrastructure alone, you will act as a data partner to the business, transforming complex data into actionable insights and scalable solutions that drive marketplace performance. What You’ll Do 1. Drive Driver Engagement & Retention Strategy Analyze driver lifecycle: onboarding → activation → engagement → retention Identify key drop-off points and improvement opportunities Support initiatives such as incentives, rewards, and resurrection programs 2. Support Marketplace & Supply Decisions Provide data insights on: Supply-demand balance Driver availability and activity levels Regional/time-based supply gaps Partner with Ops and Marketplace teams to optimize driver supply 3. Build Metrics & Reporting System Define and standardize key metrics (e.g. active drivers, retention, activation rates) Build and maintain dashboards for business teams Ensure consistent KPI definitions across stakeholders 4. Analyze Incentives & ROI Evaluate effectiveness of driver incentives (promotions, missions, rewards) Conduct cohort analysis and ROI evaluation Provide recommendations: scale, iterate, or stop programs 5. Enable Data-Driven Decision Making Translate business questions into analytical frameworks Support A/B testing and experiment design Deliver clear insights to drive decisions Required Qualifications 5–8+ years experience in Data Analytics / Business Analytics / Data Platform Strong SQL skills (must-have) for data extraction and analysis Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable operational improvements Preferred Qualifications Experience in delivery, logistics, mobility, or marketplace operations is a plus Experience designing or managing incentive programs Language Requirements English: Business level Japanese: Native level
