ABOUT YOU

We’re seeking a Senior Data Analytics & Tracking Specialist with strong AI fluency to enhance how we collect, interpret, and act on data. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and knows how to pair technical execution with strategic insights, especially using AI tools and workflows.
You’re highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented. Whether debugging a GTM tag, setting up server-side tracking, or presenting attribution models to a client, you do so with a friendly, can-do attitude and a good sense of humor. You’re adaptable to change, focused on results, and skilled at collaborating across teams to clarify priorities.

MANDATORY SKILLS

  • Use natural language AI models (e.g., ChatGPT) to summarize trends, write data-driven narratives, and brainstorm experiment ideas.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and make recommendations for testing or implementation across the agency.
  • 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing analytics, data tracking, or similar, with prior agency experience strongly preferred
  • Deep hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and server-side tracking setups
  • Strong SQL knowledge and experience building/managing data pipelines
  • Proven expertise with data visualization platforms (Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Working knowledge of marketing tech stacks, ad platforms, and attribution methodologies
  • Familiarity with Supermetrics, Zapier, PowerMyAnalytics, and cloud databases (e.g., Redshift)
  • Strong attention to detail with a natural instinct to QA and troubleshoot data flows
  • Data-driven storytelling and the ability to explain complex tracking frameworks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong time management, autonomy, and collaboration in a remote work environment

Compensation for this role is commensurate with experience. This is an independent contractor position.
Our process involves completing several assessments, as well as completing a multi-week paid trial period to see how we work together.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage advanced tracking setups using GTM (client/server-side), GA4, Meta CAPI, and other pixels.
  • Build scalable data pipelines using tools like Supermetrics, Redshift, BigQuery, Zapier, etc.
  • Create dashboards in Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau to help teams and clients understand campaign performance.
  • Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, BigQuery ML, GA4 predictive metrics) to enhance analysis, automate reporting, and surface insights.
  • Develop internal systems or workflows that leverage AI to streamline data interpretation, anomaly detection, and cross-channel attribution.
  • Collaborate with Paid Media, SEO, Amazon, and Client Services teams to define KPIs and support strategic recommendations.
  • Troubleshoot complex tracking and data flow issues across web properties, ad platforms, and analytics suites.
  • Stay current on privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA) and tag hygiene best practices.
