WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data solutions on Huhtamaki’s Global Data Platform, leveraging Azure and Microsoft Fabric technologies.
• Lead and own key strategic initiates, collaborate with cross-functional leaders, and manage the end-to-end development lifecycle to ensure successful delivery.
• Review, architect, and optimize data pipelines and data models to support analytical, reporting, and operational use cases across functions.
• Build robust data architectures and optimize the underlying infrastructure using Azure and Fabric for data storage, modeling, and integration.
• Enforce enterprise data governance policies, security standards, and compliance requirements.
• Educate and engage stakeholders at all levels, articulating the data vision and demonstrating the values of our data solutions.
• Guide and mentor the development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.
• Keep your finger on the pulse of modern technologies, constantly exploring and recommending best practices.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience with deep hands-on expertise on Azure data engineering and data platform.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, Pyspark, Azure Datawarehouse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, etc.
• Proven track record of architecting and delivering scalable, enterprise-grade data solutions aligned with business needs
• Proactive ownership mindset with a strong self-driven approach
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good experience in extracting data from various ERP systems and API-related development is a strong plus.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Fabric Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate) are a plus
