Our Client is an established Structured cabling company due to increase in workload seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Data Cabling Engineer to join our growing team, delivering structured cabling and network infrastructure projects across the North East and UK & European wide

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in structured cabling installations
• Proven experience leading or supervising teams on site
• Strong knowledge of copper and fibre installations and testing procedures
• Familiarity with Fluke or similar cable testing tools
• ECS/CSCS Card (essential)
• IPAF, PASMA, and/or asbestos awareness (desirable)
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Willing to travel across the North East region (occasional nationwide travel may be required)

• Install, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and fibre optic cabling (single-mode & multi-mode)
• Supervise and support junior engineers and subcontractors on site
• Carry out site surveys and produce reports and materials lists
• Interpret network drawings and floor plans to execute installations
• Work to high industry standards including TIA/EIA and BS EN
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, safely and to specification
• Liaise with clients and project managers to provide updates and resolve issues
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
