JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Data Center Construction Contract Analyst will play a critical role in managing and analyzing various construction contracts related to our data center projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with General Contractor Contracts, Construction Consultancy Contracts, and Equipment Contracts. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can work independently under pressure, possesses strong negotiation skills, and has a solid understanding of contract terms. The candidate will collaborate closely with legal teams and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCMP, CCE) is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract analysis and management within the construction industry, specifically in data centers, hyperscale environments, or related fields
  • Proven experience with various construction contract types, including General Contractor Contracts, Construction Consultancy Contracts, and Equipment Contracts
  • Strong understanding of contract law, terms, and negotiation strategies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cost consultancy, procurement, or commercial management roles
  • Knowledge of international construction contracting standards (e.g., FIDIC, NEC)
  • Familiarity with sustainability, safety, and compliance frameworks in large-scale construction
Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Review, analyze, and manage various types of construction contracts, including General Contractor Contracts, Construction Consultancy Contracts, and Equipment Contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions that align with project goals and budget constraints
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks associated with contract terms and conditions, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks in collaboration with legal and project management teams
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, project management, and legal, to ensure seamless contract execution and adherence to project timelines
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts, amendments, and correspondence, ensuring easy access for stakeholders
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on contract performance, compliance, and risk management to senior management and stakeholders
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes that may impact construction contracts and procurement processes in the data center sector
