JOB DESCRIPTION:

Quiet Professionals LLC is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Center Technician III (Senior) to join our team in Doral, FL.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Have a current/active Secret Eligible clearance.
• BA/BS in field necessary to assume Data Center Technician III duties and a minimum of 9 years of relevant Data Center Technician III experience.
• High School and 4 years of additional experience or associate degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor’s degree.
• A candidate holding a relevant master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.
• Five years of position-specific relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience working in a data center environment with hands-on experience in server hardware, networking, and storage systems.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with advanced data center technologies, such as cloud computing, automation, and orchestration. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations elated to data center operations (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
• Experience with scripting or programming languages for automation tasks.

• The Data Center Technician III is responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of data center infrastructure.
• They play a critical role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the data center environment.
• They possess a strong technical foundation in data center technologies, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional support.
• They perform routine maintenance tasks, such as server racking and stacking, cable management, and equipment replacement.
• They monitor data center environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, and power.
• They respond to and resolve data center incidents, including hardware failures, network outages, and environmental alarms.
• They maintain accurate records of data center assets, configurations, and maintenance activities.
• They provide technical support for servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data center equipment.
• They effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• The Data Center Technician III provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff.
