Start Date: We are looking for you at one of our German locations in Munich, Nuremberg, Leipzig, Essen, Berlin, or Frankfurt am Main! Your tasks: Are data and AI your passion? Your new challenge will also include: Conceptualizing and building Big Data/Analytics platforms; Selecting suitable technologies for implementing data analytics use cases in complex cloud environments; Developing, executing, and scaling data pipelines on cluster architectures; Assessing data quality and performing data cleansing transformations; Designing and implementing data models; Providing data in suitable storage technologies for various applications such as interactive dashboards, API backends, statistical analyses, and AI systems; Setting up infrastructure, applications, and DevOps workflows using IaC and CI/CD; Supporting the data science team in the development, deployment, production, and operationalization of statistical or AI models; Project organization with regard to planning and coordination; Active participation in the company's engineering community. Your profile: Is data also in your DNA? What you should bring: Successfully completed studies in computer science, data engineering, or another mathematical/scientific field, or a comparable qualification. At least 4 years of full-time professional experience as a data engineer, software engineer, software developer, or similar professional field. Fluent communication skills in German and English, as well as willingness to travel as part of a consulting role. Very good knowledge of a programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, or Java), especially with its data engineering components and libraries, as well as knowledge of Git. Strong knowledge of technologies from at least one cloud provider: Azure / AWS / GCP, especially with its data engineering components and services. Very good knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL and data modeling.
