Are data and AI your domain? Furthermore, your new challenge will be as follows:

• Conceptualization and development of Big Data/Analytics platforms
• Selection of suitable technologies for implementing data analytics use cases in complex cloud environments
• Development, execution, and scaling of data pipelines on cluster architectures
• Assessment of data quality and implementation of data cleansing transformations
• Design and implementation of data models
• Providing data in suitable storage technologies for a wide range of applications such as interactive dashboards, API backends, statistical analyses and AI systems.
• Setting up infrastructure, applications, and DevOps workflows using IaC and CI/CD
• Supporting the Data Science team in the development, deployment, production, and operationalization of statistical or AI models.
• Project organization in terms of planning and coordination
• Active participation in the engineering community within the company

Your profile

Is data also in your DNA ? Here's what you should bring:

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, data engineering or another mathematical/scientific field or a comparable qualification
• At least 4 years of full-time professional experience as a Data Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Developer or similar field
• Fluent communication skills in German and English, as well as willingness to travel as part of a consulting activity
• Excellent knowledge of a programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, or Java), especially with its data engineering components or libraries, as well as knowledge of Git.
• Strong knowledge of technologies from at least one cloud provider: Azure / AWS / GCP, especially their data engineering components and services.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL and data modeling.
• Knowledge of Databricks / Snowflake, OpenTable formats (DeltaTable, Iceberg, Hudi) and experience in project management
