MAKE AN IMPACT Job Description: We are hiring a Senior Consultant to support data migration and ETL initiatives, ensuring accurate, controlled, and efficient movement of data across systems as part of transformation and remediation programs. Key Responsibilities Analyse source and target systems and define data migration requirements Perform data mapping, transformation logic definition, and reconciliation design Design and implement ETL pipelines for data ingestion and transformation Execute and support data migration activities (planning, execution, validation, reconciliation) Conduct data discovery and lineage analysis across systems Identify and resolve data issues during migration (quality, completeness, consistency) Perform root cause analysis of data discrepancies and defects Define and implement data validation, controls, and reconciliation checks Support cutover planning, migration rehearsals, and post-migration validation Ensure alignment with data governance, quality, and risk controls Required Skills & Experience 8–14 years in ETL, Data Engineering, or Data Migration roles Strong experience in data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Ab Initio, Talend, SSIS, etc.) Strong SQL and data analysis skills Experience in large-scale data migration or transformation programs Experience in regulated industries/BFSI preferred Desired Qualifications & Certifications Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Certifications in ETL tools or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) WHY JOIN CAPCO? Key Responsibilities Analyse and interpret data governance policies and standards Assess applicability of governance requirements across business processes Conduct current state assessments across processes, systems, and operating models Perform gap analysis and define target state governance frameworks Establish data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models Design and implement governance artefacts, controls, and KCIs Support risk and control assessments (e.g., RCSA) and governance reporting Coordinate with stakeholders to drive alignment and approvals Track and manage data governance initiatives and deliverables Drive change management activities (training, communication, documentation) Participate in governance forums and workshops Required Skills & Experience 8–14 years in Data Governance / Data Management roles Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and controls Experience in client-facing delivery or transformation programs Experience in BFSI Industry preferred Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Desired Qualifications & Certifications Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant field DAMA CDMP, DCAM, or equivalent certifications Experience with tools such as Collibra, Alation, Informatica
