Ciklum is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland. About the role: As a Senior Data Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.  The client is a healthcare platform focused on mental health services. It enables clients to schedule appointments with psychologists and psychotherapists while integrating with various US insurance providers and mental health networks. The platform offers subscription packages for mental health and ensures accessibility through multiple insurance options. Responsibilities: * Design, build, and maintain scalable systems for ingestion, transformation, and storage of data, with a focus on testing and observability * Implement frameworks, tooling, and automation to safely increase development velocity * Develop data pipelines, optimize pipelines, SQL or other data workflows from (1) source ingestion and preparation, (2) training and tuning and (3) downstream systems integration (EHR modules, micro-services, dashboards) Requirements: * Proficiency in SQL and Python with strong familiarity towards modern data engineering frameworks, infrastructure, and tooling * Knowledge of dbt, Pyspark, Glue , Terraform to support current infrastructure on AWS * Great to have experience setting up GCP infra : Iceberg, Dataplex, Terraform to help with initial steps of GCP migration project * A collaborative mindset, dependable execution, drive to reflect and improve, and humility to ask questions and learn * Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or a related field * 5+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or ML engineering * Experience working with major cloud data platforms and tools Desirable: * Healthcare, behavioral health, EHR systems, and/or regulated industries * Specific expertise with: AWS/GCP, dbt, AirflowAirbyte, Redshift/BigQuery What`s in it for you? * Strong community: Work alongside top professionals in a friendly, open-door environment * Growth focus: Take on large-scale projects with a global impact and expand your expertise * Tailored learning: Boost your skills with internal events (meetups, conferences, workshops), Udemy access, language courses, and company-paid certifications * Endless opportunities: Explore diverse domains through internal mobility, finding the best fit to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies * Flexibility: Enjoy flexibility – full remote working possibilities * Care: We’ve got you covered with company-paid medical insurance, mental health support, and financial & legal consultations About us: At Ciklum, we are always exploring innovations, empowering each other to achieve more, and engineering solutions that matter.
