QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Significant years of experience in Data Engineering with proven experience across cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Deep knowledge of SQL, data modelling, data warehousing and ETL
• Strong experience working with Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and JavaScript
• Understanding of Visualisation Best Practices and semantic-layer-based tools
• Exposure to DevOps/DataOps, CI/CD tools, Git, and infrastructure-as-code approaches
• Background in mining/resources is desirable
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
