Description:
Are you a passionate about creating scalable services? We’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Customer Success and Support Data Engineering team. In this role, you’ll construct top-tier data solutions and applications vital for organizational decision-making.
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of working experience as a Data Engineer
- High proficiency in SQL, specifically Databricks SQL
- Extensive knowledge of Spark
- Proficient in Python, particularly PySpark and writing on top of Airflow
- Experience with data integration, modeling, and the use of REST APIs
- General understanding of big data, the AWS suite, and Airflow
- Some experience in building ETL pipelines

Responsibilities:
- Assist with reviewing incoming support tickets and minimal ticket interactions, with guidance from the existing team
- Develop datamarts, and separate data models for analytic purposes, working in sprints, and accommodate requirements from Data Scientists by end of each quarter
- Handle ad-hoc requests (on-call support expected)
- Construct ingestion pipelines (minor part of the job)
- Create clear, helpful documentation to enable both technical and non-technical users to utilize the information you provide
- Provide support on a 12/5 basis
- Collaborate with and support the Data Science teams
