Description

Strong Python (or Scala) engineering experience with excellent software engineering fundamentals
Hands-on experience with modern data platforms including Databricks, Airflow and dbt
Strong cloud experience (AWS preferred, GCP/Azure also considered)
Experience building and scaling production-grade data platforms and backend infrastructure
Knowledge of modern data architectures including Data Lakes, batch & streaming pipelines, and self-service platforms
Experience with technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Delta Lake, Iceberg or similar would be highly beneficial
Infrastructure as Code and platform automation experience (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence engineering teams and technical strategy
Passion for platform engineering, developer experience, automation, observability and building systems that enable others to move faster
