The Data Analytics group’s mission is to empower client company with data through analysis, operational insights, strategic initiatives, and decision-making. We are looking for an experienced data engineer to join our Backend team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for ELT data ingestion processes while building our new Cloud Data Lakehouse. You will own all functions related to our data warehouse: architecture, generation, storage, maintenance, preparation, enrichment, and cleansing. Your work will impact our business's success and growth. To do well in this role, you must be technical and up to date with modern technology to re-design traditional data collection processes. You should have strong analytical skills, agile and with the ability to adjust between traditional and innovative data tools. Responsibilities: Handle technical design, development, optimization, monitoring, and governance of the ELT, data pipelines, and data Lakehouse. Develop complex ETL and stream Data Pipelines. Implement new technologies and data infrastructures. Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability. Work closely with data analysts and Tableau developers to effectively model and build our DWH. Develop and maintain the master data layer. Adopt industry-leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high-performance computing and data storage solutions. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in data engineering and ETL/ELT development in a DWH environment. Proficiency in SQL – a must. Experience with cloud DWH tools such as Snowflake & DBT - a must. Excellent understanding of DWH architecture, methodology and data modeling. Experience with troubleshooting and solving problems, strong analytical skills. Excellent communication skills with fluent English. Ability to work well independently and as part of an agile team. Would be a plus: Data engineering certification is a plus. Experience with various cloud DWH tools. Additional programming languages, such as Python, R, Scala, Java. On-Prem environment experience with tools, such as, SSIS, SQL-Server, OLAP and Tabular.
