Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join Northvolt’s exceptionally competent and knowledgeable Data & AI Team with full focus on driving data excellence for Northvolt’s battery cell manufacturing operations. The role entails design, implementation, operations, and optimisation of cloud data infrastructure critical to quality, performance, and availability of Northvolt’s manufacturing equipment and commercial products. The team owns the manufacturing data delivery technology relied upon by all analytics, visualization, investigation, reporting, and Machine Learning capabilities.
Our cloud-native implementation at Northvolt Ett sets a global example in manufacturing. Our first gigafactory produces large amounts of heterogenous data that is uploaded to our cloud platform, where the data is processed, organized, and transformed for analysis and machine learning. You will be responsible for the data platform powering detailed product traceability, real-time monitoring of manufacturing line effectiveness, computer vision defect detection, and machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) modeling to predict quality and performance of the produced battery cells.
