This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer in the United States. We are seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to help design, build, and maintain scalable data products that drive impactful decisions. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and ML engineers, to deliver high-quality, reliable data pipelines and solutions. You will help leverage structured and unstructured data to create actionable insights and support advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives. Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain robust Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines. Operate, improve, and optimize legacy data pipelines supporting existing business operations. Collaborate with Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, and Property Data Operations teams to deliver data-driven solutions. Implement best practices for data architecture, storage, and retrieval across data warehouses and data lakes. Ensure data quality, security, and accessibility for downstream analytics and ML applications. Document pipelines, processes, and data workflows to support knowledge sharing and team scalability. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience with 7+ years in data engineering. 4+ years of experience developing in Python. Strong understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, and master data management principles. Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Glue, Batch, RDS, EMR, EKS, Lambda, and Step Functions. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Airflow, DBT, and ETL industry standards. Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and columnar databases (Redshift, Snowflake). Strong Linux knowledge, including BASH scripting. Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and anticipate stakeholder needs.
