This role will require working closely with our product and business teams to translate requirements into a concrete plan for design and development. You will be a business-oriented engineer, bridging the gap between high-level needs and technical execution. You’ll be creating high-performance pipelines to ingest and enrich data, and ensuring that this data is modeled perfectly to drive business decisions. You will take the lead in professionalizing our data environment by orchestrating the existing independent scripts into a micro-services architecture. Hiring manager: Artem Poltavskiy, Data Engineering Team Lead Requirements WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Must-have: 4+ years of relevant Data Engineering experience. Strong expertise in Data Modeling, with a deep, practical understanding of the Medallion Architecture. Proven ability to use dbt's core fundamentals, ensuring reusability and adherence to robust development patterns. Strong proficiency with Columnar Databases, with a significant preference for BigQuery. Advanced proficiency with LLMs and experience utilizing development agents (e.g., Cursor, Antigravity) in engineering workflows. Expert at writing custom code to interface with external vendors and APIs (e.g., building resilient collectors that handle rate-limiting and schema changes). Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing data orchestration frameworks, including migrating existing or legacy data pipelines into a unified orchestration system (such as Airflow). Ability to communicate fluently in English Nice-to-have: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar environments. Familiarity with Google applications and analytics suite (Firebase, GA360, AdMob, etc.). Familiarity with data streaming technologies like Kafka or equivalent. Proficiency in Python for high-performance data processing. INTERESTED?
