As a Data Engineer at OPITZ CONSULTING, you will support our clients in breaking down rigid data structures and building high-performance, scalable data platforms based on the Modern Data Stack. Are you passionate about Data Transformation as Code and modern cloud architectures? Then join us in shaping the data-driven future.

• Architecture Design: You design and implement modern data platform architectures in the cloud on AWS, Azure or GCP with a focus on Snowflake.
• Data Engineering: You develop modular and testable transformation pipelines with dbt and work according to best practices such as versioning, CI/CD and automated tests.
• Data modeling: You create data models according to Data Vault 2.0, Star Schema or comparable modeling techniques for the structured representation of business requirements.
• End-to-end orchestration: You integrate ingestion tools like Fivetran or Airbyte and ensure workflow orchestration with Airflow or Dagster.
• Consulting and coaching: You advise customers on the selection of suitable components and support the migration of legacy systems to the cloud.
• Quality assurance: You ensure high data reliability through automated data quality checks and clear governance structures
