What you move

• Your main tasks include the development, operation and optimization of complex data pipelines and data products – from data collection to analytical use.
• You will implement our existing data analytics platform framework in practice, further develop it from a technical perspective, and contribute suggestions for improvement from operational practice.
• In addition, you will provide expert advice on architectural decisions, evaluate technical options and support the further development of the target architecture.
• You ensure data quality, testability, security and stability, and support metadata management, data catalogs and technical governance.
• In addition, you will work closely with other Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Data Analysts and the Product Owner, and provide technical guidance to the team.

What makes you stand out

• You have a technical university or university of applied sciences degree and bring relevant professional experience in the field of data engineering.
• Furthermore, you have very good knowledge of Python, ideally PySpark, and SQL; basic knowledge of Bash is an advantage.
• You bring sound practical experience with Azure, Databricks and modern cloud analytics stacks, as well as knowledge of data warehouse and lakehouse architectures including testing and data quality assurance.
• An independent and responsible work ethic, experience in agile work environments and very good German language skills complete your profile.
