What we’re looking for:

  • At least 4–5 years of experience in a Data Engineer role
  • Fluency in Finnish and English (written and spoken)
  • Hands-on experience with platforms like Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Strong understanding of data architecture: data lakes, modeling, warehousing, SQL/NoSQL, ETL/ELT
  • Proficiency in programming (e.g., Python, R, or Java)
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD practices
  • Ability to work in a consultative role and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in defining, developing, and maintaining data products
  • Curiosity and willingness to stay up to date with emerging technologies, including AI-powered solutions.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with real-time data streaming or high-volume batch pipelines
  • Skills in data analytics and visualization tools
  • Domain knowledge in banking, insurance, or the public sector
  • Interest in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to our internal data community
