At Verizon, our data landscape is going through generational changes. For this team, the objective is to drive growth initiatives for Verizon Business by curating data to build products and work with key business leaders to deliver insights. As a senior data engineer you will focus on collecting data from multiple sources in various formats and loading the data using various tools and frameworks as necessary. You will be facilitating end-to-end data pipelining as well as support maintenance, bug fixes and performance analysis against the data pipelines. You will also expand and optimize data and the data pipeline architecture as we migrate to Google Cloud Platform and work with partners to understand requirements and effectively prioritize for their implementations.

• Processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data, including integrating data from multiple sources.
• Building secure, scalable, and stable data solutions using data storage technologies, distributed file system, data processing, and business intelligence best practices.
• Designing and planning for solutions in the various engineering subject areas as it relates to data storage and movement solutions: Enterprise system data architecture, data design, data persistence technologies, data processing, data management, and data analysis
