Job Description

As a Senior Data Engineer (f/m/d), you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing our data infrastructure and pipelines. You will be responsible for managing complex data engineering projects, ensuring data quality and reliability, and driving innovation in data processing and analytics. You can be an essential team member in shaping the mobile power supply of tomorrow by

  • Implementing and maintaining ETLs for batch and event-driven data delivery
  • Designing and updating the data model behind our web application
  • Deploying and maintaining cloud services: database, kubernetes and kubernetes jobs, etc.
  • Ensuring the availability of the infrastructure and data processes by setting up alerting and monitoring
  • Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
  • Promoting the best engineering practices within the data team

Requirements

  • You have a degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or a comparable technical field
  • You have 2 - 4 years of experience as a data engineer or DevOps engineer or similar
  • You are fully proficient in SQL & Python
  • You have experience in deploying and maintaining services in the cloud
  • You have a very good knowledge of English and have solid communication skills
  • Experience with AWS and knowledge in Kubernetes, CI/CD, Networking, and Terraform will be a bonus
