ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a data and analytics professional who understands current approaches to data governance and data capability uplift, drawing on your experience working with data, including collection, storage, management and visualisation. Your strong stakeholder engagement skills, together with an ability to easily explain complex data concepts will assist you in this role as you help IPART to make the best use of its data holdings.
Previous experience in building data reports and creating data products that will help decision makers, provide insights and help the Corporate Services team is essential. A genuine interest in keeping up to date with NSW government policies, processes and legislation will assist you in this role. You will need to be driven, accountable and have a good understanding of project delivery.
The salary range for this role is $130,571 - $139,769 per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Business Operations Team is seeking a data governance specialist to improve how we use and manage data across IPART. The role will bring a modern approach to how we collect, manage and act upon the data we hold and help drive agency wide change to enable us to harness the powerful insights and opportunities our data contains. Working to improve data capability, systems and organisational maturity, using Corporate Services as the best practice model, the role will work closely with IPART leaders, executives and data experts providing a unique opportunity to influence decision makers and optimise service delivery.
